Hey backers! 

We are happy to report that we sent out all the Backerkit surveys this morning. 

North America

We did receive some questions about shipping.  The shipping estimate we provided during the campaign was for the base level pledge - which is what you'll find.  We are happy that so many of you saw the value in getting the expansion and playmat in our Showman level.  That said, it does contain an extra three items, one of which necessitates a larger box and bumps us up to the next weight tier (for North American shipping, it is $2.50 more.)  

International

For non-North American backers, the Join the Cast shipping  cost is also what we estimated.  But for the other tiers, prices went up quite a bit with added weight / size beyond just the game.  We will look into options to see if there is anything additional we can do to address this concern.  We appreciate the feedback and will continue to communicate any new information we have.

Local Pickup

For those of you who want local pickup, you also have to select "Local Pickup" in the dropdown on the first step and for the country on Step 3: Shipping.

Production Proof Copy!

Super exciting update!  The manufacturer sent over a couple a pictures of the Sideshow Swap! proof and Sideshow Swap! Shenanigans Expansion proof.  They don't arrive at my doorstep until Monday, but I couldn't wait the entire weekend to share my own pictures, so here they are:

I hope you all are as excited as we are. We'll show more pictures when we get to open the packs up a bit.

Production Update

Hello Sideshow Swap! backers - 

We have really enjoyed the photos and messages from the backers who received and have been playing the Producer Editions of Sideshow Swap! that had advanced, small-batch production and shipping.  It's a surreal feeling knowing that something we created has made its way to the gaming tables outside of our immediate testing circles.

It's been a while since we've had any backer-related news, and maybe it's been too long since we posted an update for everyone, so we wanted to let you all in on what's been going on with the production of the game.  As we mentioned on the previous updated, we regrettably admit that things are taking longer than we originally thought.  As such, we worked with our manufacturer to include a little hidden something in each copy.  It's a small way of saying thanks for your patience.  We spent a bit of extra time getting the colors and production of the game absolutely right, and we are certain that working with a world-class game manufacturer like Panda (they manufacture Scythe, Wingspan, Feudum, Root, Downforce, and many of our favorite games), this will be a game that you'll be able to enjoy for years.  Digital proofs have passed, and we are waiting the physical proof from Panda.

Timeline update

Hey everyone!  We got a great question about delivery timeframe in our comment section and thought everyone should hear the answer:

We should have a digital proof from our manufacturer soon, and as soon as we get it we will share it with you all.  The entire process has taken a bit longer than we anticipated, due to fact of re-sourcing / re-quoting with various manufacturers (avoid the tariffs, etc).  We are on board with Panda and moving forward, but as we see it right now, it is unlikely that we'll hit October as predicted.  We will continue to be transparent about these kind of things and will let you know more as things evolve and when we have a firm target date.

Greetings Sideshow Swap! Backers - 

We have a few exciting updates we wanted to share with you all.  We're happy to report that all the Sideshow Swap! Producer Editions have been mailed, and hopefully we'll be seeing some pictures on social media soon. 

The wooden Bux make a soft, yet satisfying thwack. 

We also have the First Tour playmats in.  They really help speed you through game setup and explain the rules as you're first getting accustomed to Sideshow Swap! Those pictured here are truly limited edition--once they're gone, they're gone.

I know you all were eagerly waiting for that special character that you unlocked, so I think it's time we introduced this fella... 

And our biggest piece of news, as far as this update goes, is that we have signed the paperwork to have our game manufactured by Panda Game Manufacturer (Feudum, Scythe, Trogdor!!, Pandemic, and other great games!) If you aren't familiar with them, they make stunning components. Nothing but the best for fans of the 'Show!

We will continue to share with you all the milestones as we achieve them, but the we are happy that there have been some really big accomplishments the past few weeks.
